Over 20 years ago, the first Las Olas Wine and Food Festival took place hosted by and to benefit the American Lung Association. This year’s event will take place on Friday, April 5, 2019, where 2,500 epicureans will come together to enjoy the fantastic culinary talents of South Florida while raising money for the ALA, which is the leading organization to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through education, advocacy and research.
Guests will sip, sample, and enjoy dishes from 50+ of South Florida’s finest restaurants and more than 200 wines, spirits, and breweries. This year will be one for the ages as Las Olas Wine & Food Festival gets a brand new look and is infused with more fun and excitement. Check out this list of the top 10 things to do here, as you won’t want to miss the Celebrity Cruises’ silent disco party, the one-of-a-kind Woodford Reserve speakeasy and more!
Pelican Landing, located on the docks of Pier Sixty-Six Marina, will be participating in the festival. Chef Gregory McGowan will be serving lobster & conch fritters accompanied by lemon powder, Cajun aioli, and micro cilantro.
