We’re proud to announce that this year the starting point for Art Fort Lauderdale (ARTFTL) is right here at Pier Sixty-Six Marina. This singular destination art fair highlights the uniqueness of the city and puts Fort Lauderdale on the art world map as a premiere location to view, interact with and purchase art. As well, it gives art aficionados, residents and visitors a cultural experience that is memorable, engaging and unlike any other art show they’ve experienced. Pier Sixty-Six Marina is the perfect launch point with Pelican Landing right on the docks, where you can grab a cocktail and a bite before or after you embark.
The 4-day curated art fair transports attendees on an artistic journey along the famed intracoastal waterways via a complimentary water taxi and private yacht that leaves from Pier Sixty-Six Marina, with stops at multiple vacant luxury waterfront properties that feature artists and galleries exhibiting various styles and methods of art that reflect the past, the present and the future. Art Fort Lauderdale uniquely combines the purchase of art and luxury waterfront homes as the homes are for sale as well. And this year’s fair will feature these five homes/ pavilions which can be viewed here.
Megan Lagasse, our marine director said, ”Fort Lauderdale is such a wonderful community. The art and marine industries are two great groups of people here and this fantastic collaboration brings it together. Art and boating are two of my favorite things so I’m excited that Pier Sixty-Six Marina is a part of this amazing event.”
We recommend 3-4 hours to get the most out of this artistic journey of discovery and encourage all attendees to get to the boarding location at least 3-4 hours before fair closing each day. The water taxi will be coming in 45 minute increments to each home/pavilion. However you can stay for as long as you would like or decide to go when the next water taxi arrives. Departures from Pier Sixty-Six Marina are every 45 minutes to one hour.
