Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the “Yachting Capital of the World” will host the 58th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, and will for the first time, open the show on Wednesday November 1st and run until Sunday November 5th. The Show exhibits this year will range from yacht builders and designers to exotic cars and brokerage yachts. A wide variety of boats will be on display including runabouts, sportfishers, high performance boats, center consoles, cabin cruisers, flats boats, skiffs, express cruisers, sailing yachts, motor yachts, bowriders, catamarans, ski boats, jet boats, trawlers, inflatables, canoes and of course, extraordinary superyachts.
One amazing vessel located at Pier Sixty-Six Marina, being exhibited by Edmonton & Company, is the 257 ft. “TV” built at the Lurssen shipyard under the supervisions of Moran Yacht & Ship. She’s an Espen Oeino and Alberto Pinto designed vessel with a laid back South Beach inspired interior. Her many unique features include 8 staterooms, 6 located on the main deck with huge ceiling-to-floor windows, a delightful master suite that looks forward with 180-degree views, twin Jacuzzis, a large counter current swimming pool, as well as enormous exterior sun bathing areas and a huge interior space to relax and unwind. TV is one of the finest yachts ever built, equipped with a custom elevator and a fully operational helicopter pad with fueling station. It’s FREE for all children who have a ticket to the boat show and who are between the ages of 5-16. This is also the first year under the ownership of Informa Exhibitions who purchased the show in March of 2017. Informa also owns and operates the world renowned Monaco Yacht Show.
