We all rely on our iPhones and Androids more and more these days. According to research the average person can spend as much as 90% of their time on a mobile phone using an app. This may seem like a high percentage but it’s a fact of modern life. And of course this includes yacht crew members that are using app technology while docked at Pier Sixty-Six Marina, working in Fort Lauderdale, or in their daily duties on the high seas.
The smartphone has become an invaluable tool and we’re listing several here that we think are useful to assist in many facets of daily operations, based on an compilation written by Luke Wheeler via http://www.yachting-pages.com and our own internet research.
